If you created patches that you want to share to the Owl Community, here is a procedure using github pull-requests:
- fork the OwlPatches repository on github
- create a branch
- add and commit your file
- then send a pull request to merge it with the master branch…
It’s a hassle if you’re not used to it, but it sets you up to submit more changes and patches in the future.
If you don't know how to use github, and don't want to use it, just post your patch into the forums, and we'll do the work for you.
In any case, please put a short description of what the Patch does in the header, and also insert a license type (GPL ?).
Once your patch has been merged into the common repository, you can also add some audio samples to the patch library. The examples start with a few seconds of dry sound, then the wet sound. The best is to upload it to SoundCloud, or send us the file so we upload into the Owl SoundCloud account.
Thank you for contributing!
